Mombasa County to Receive Over 900,000 Long Lasting Insecticide Treated Mosquito Nets
Mombasa ,2024 Mombasa County is set to distribute over 941,000 treated mosquito nets to 300,000 households as part of a nationwide initiative targeting to distribute over 15M nets in 22 counties.
Principal Secretary State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards Mary Muthoni joined the Global Fund Country Team led by Senior Fund Portfolio Manager Paul McCarrick for an oversight of the Mombasa Distribution posts.
The PS urged local leaders to conduct community sensitization to ensure effective utilization of the nets in the fight against malaria.This project is funded by the Global Fund and USAID/PMI.
