Wafula Leads Commissioning of CMI Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Ngong

Nairobi Kenya - On April 15th, 2024, Health CS Nakhumicha S. Wafula joined Ngong Diocese's Catholic Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. John Obala, and faithfuls for the commissioning of the Carmeline Mary Immaculate (CMI) Health and Rehabilitation Huduma Centre in Kibiku, Ngong.

The center, featuring a dispensary and youth rehabilitation facility, will significantly contribute to delivering accessible, affordable, quality, and safe healthcare for residents of Kibiku and Ngong at large.

Recognizing the pivotal role of Church and Faith-Based Owned Hospitals, the CS emphasized their importance as key stakeholders in the government's efforts to provide comprehensive healthcare services, complementing initiatives aimed at ensuring no Kenyan is left behind.

“The Ministry pledges continued support for initiatives aimed at achieving Universal Health Coverage for all Kenyans,” Nakhumicha stated.

The function was attended by Kajiado County Deputy Governor H.E. Martin Mashisho, Kajiado West MP George Sunkuiya, among others.
