CS Kagwe appeals to striking health workers to resume duty

Health Cabinet Secretary Senator Mutahi Kagwe briefing the media on update of COVID-19 at Afya house grounds in Nairobi. He was accompanied by Kisii County Governor James Angwae who represented the Council of Governors. The two appealed to striking health workers to resume duty as most of their grievances had been addressed and the rest are being dealt with. He appealed to the health workers to be compassionate to the ailing Kenyans adding that there was no justification in holding a strike during the current Covid-19 pandemic. The CS noted that there was no any other country in the world where health workers were on strike during this pandemic.
