Principal Secretary Ministry Health State Department for Public Health Dr. Josephine Mburu has said the government will continue working with partners to enhance access to healthcare at community levels through improving community systems, health promotion, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
Speaking when she had discussions with the Secretary for Kenya Red Cross, Dr. Asha Mohammed, the PS noted that there is need to focus on Primary Health Systems in order to strengthen the referral system in the Country.
The PS lauded the Kenya Red Cross for their efforts to ensure continued access to care for patients with Non Communicable Diseases, HIV and TB especially in view of the ongoing drought in the county.
