Nairobi, KENYA 7 February 2018 – The Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Health Sicily Kariuki today held a fruitful discussion with seven Ministry of Health Parastatal Chief Executive Officers (CEOs).
The CEOs from National Insurance Hospital Fund (NHIF), Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), Kenya Medical Supply Agency (KEMSA), Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH), Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) and National Aids Control Council (NACC) met the CS at Afya House today.
The CS emphasized the need to work as a team to deliver efficient, effective and consistent health services to wananchi. She urged the CEOs to leverage on Information, Communication and Technologies (ICTs) as a means of improving health services access, efficiency and quality. She also urged the CEOs to take personnel responsibility of their institutions and pledged to support them in all their endeavors.
