Dr. Ouma Oluga Hosts KCB Bank Delegation to Discuss Strategic Collaboration in Healthcare Financing

Nairobi, Kenya -  - Principal Secretary for Medical Services, Dr. Ouma Oluga,  hosted a delegation from KCB Bank led by General Manager, Sovereign and Public Sector Banking, Mr. David Nyamu, during a courtesy call at Afya House to discuss strategic collaboration in support of the Government’s health sector reform agenda.

The meeting focused on innovative healthcare financing, strengthening health infrastructure, modernising public health facilities, expanding access to medical equipment financing and promoting sustainable energy solutions through the solarisation of health facilities.

Dr. Oluga reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening public-private partnerships that mobilise investment, enhance health systems and expand equitable access to quality healthcare services in line with the Government’s Universal Health Coverage (UHC) agenda.

Also present were KCB Bank’s Head of SME Banking, Ms. Naomi Ndele; Head of Premium Banking, Mr. Simon Halonda; Ecosystem Lead (Healthcare), Ms. Beth Mwaniki; and Senior Manager, Healthcare Sector (SME), Mr. Maxwell Isabu.
