Kenya Reinforcing Healthcare Collaboration with Japan

Nairobi ,2024 Kenya and Japan have taken a major step in reinforcing their healthcare collaboration, with Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards, Mary Muthoni, hosting the Japanese Ambassador to Kenya, His Excellency Okaniwa Ken. 

The meeting focused on deepening the partnership between the two nations, aimed at enhancing Kenya’s healthcare infrastructure.

Key areas of collaboration include the development of laboratory facilities, improving maternal and child health, building capacity, and bolstering preparedness for health emergencies.

These initiatives are expected to drive research and innovation, ensuring that Kenyans have access to high-quality healthcare services.
