The Ministry of Health is currently conducting an Mpox Response Intra-Action Review (IAR) in collaboration with the World Health Organization, USAID, and other partners. The review commenced on 9th December and will run through 11thΒ December 2024Β in Nairobi, as part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the public health emergency response. The review will identify key Mpox outbreak response activities and milestones across all response pillars.Β

It will also document best practices, challenges, and lessons learned from the response. Additionally, the review will provide a way forward with planned actions, detailing clear responsibilities and timelines for implementation.Β

The exercise will culminate in a comprehensive plan of action to address identified gaps and institutionalize the best practices developed during the response.
