The Principal Secretary for the State Department for Medical Services, Mr Harry Kimtai onย ย commissioned medical equipment donated by AMREF Health Africa at the GSU Headquarters in Ruaraka.ย 

The equipment, received by Deputy Inspector General of the Kenya Police Service, Mr. Eliud K. Lagat, will be used at the Magadi Field Training Campus dispensary to enhance medical services for officers and the surrounding community.ย 

ย During the event, the PS also distributed sanitary towels, donated by the State Department for Gender and Affirmative Action, to students at the GSU Secondary School.ย 

Additionally, officers and students were sensitized on Taifa Care, gaining insights into its benefits and role in advancing universal health coverage.ย 

The PS reaffirmed the governmentโ€™s commitment to strengthening healthcare access and empowering communities through strategic partnerships and awareness initiatives.
