Nairobi, Kenya -Β Β -Β Health Cabinet Secretary Hon. Aden DualeΒ Β held a strategic engagement with US ChargΓ© d’Affaires Ms. Susan Burns to review progress of the Kenya–US Government health cooperation framework and reaffirm the longstanding partnership between the two countries in advancing healthcare delivery.

The discussions followed recent technical consultations on the Government-to-Government Implementation Plan, which is anchored on foundational, transformational, and catalytic investments aimed at strengthening Kenya’s health systems and accelerating Universal Health Coverage reforms.

Key areas of collaboration include strengthening primary healthcare systems, sustaining gains in malaria and TB control, improving maternal and newborn health outcomes, and enhancing epidemic preparedness and response capacity.

The engagement reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to building a resilient, government-led and self-reliant health system that guarantees equitable, quality, and uninterrupted healthcare services for all Kenyans.

The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary for Medical Services Dr. Ouma Oluga alongside senior Ministry of Health officials.
