PS Kimtai Urges Public to Update Dependent Information on SHA Portal for Enhanced Healthcare Access

Medical Services Principal Secretary Harry Kimtai is calling on the public to update the details of their dependents on the Social Health Authority (SHA) web portal atΒ https://www.sha.go.keΒ . This essential action will help ensure seamless service delivery at health facilities.

Β In a meeting with officials from the ministry and the County Executive Committee Members (CEC) Health CaucusΒ today, PS Kimtai assured the public that the challenges faced during the initial rollout of the SHA are being meticulously addressed.Β 

He emphasized that collaboration with the CEC Health Caucus is vital for the success of the Universal Health Care rollout, as they are key stakeholders in delivering healthcare services to the public.Β 

Once fully operational, the Social Health Authority will provide benefits that were previously unavailable under the National Hospita l Insurance Fund (NHIF).
