PS Muthoni takes SHA registration gospel to Kawangware and Riruta
Nairobi , 2024The Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards, Ms. Mary Muthoni, joined congregants at Satellite Newlife SDA Church in Kawangware and Riruta East SDA Church for special Sabbath services.
During the services, the Principal Secretary took the opportunity to sensitize the faithful on the ongoing Social Health Authority (SHA) registration, emphasizing the significance of the initiative in promoting access to affordable and quality healthcare services for all Kenyans.
Ms. Muthoni urged congregants to take full advantage of this transformative program, which aligns with the government’s commitment to achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC). She further called upon community members to be ambassadors of the initiative by spreading awareness and encouraging widespread participation.
The PS stated the Ministry of Health remains committed to working closely with faith based organizations to ensure no one is left behind in accessing critical healthcare services.
