Strengthening partnerships for better healthcare delivery.
Nairobi, Kenya - - Principal Secretary for Medical Services Dr. Ouma Oluga held a consultative meeting with Defence Principal Secretary Dr. Patrick Mariru at the Defence Headquarters to review progress on joint healthcare infrastructure projects being implemented across the country in support of Universal Health Coverage.
The discussions also explored deeper collaboration on healthcare financing, resource mobilization, and strategic investments aimed at strengthening health systems and expanding access to quality healthcare services under the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
The engagement reaffirmed the continued partnership between the Ministries of Health and Defence in advancing ongoing health sector reforms and improving healthcare access for Kenyans.
