Kenya pledges $6M at the 6th global fund replenishment conference.

October 10, 2019 – The Cabinet Secretary for Health Sicily Kariuki spoke on behalf of HE the President at the 6th Global Fund Replenishment Conference, Pledging Session today.
During the occasion Kenya pledged USD 6M for the next three years. This is a 20 percent increase from the last replenishment conference held in 2016.
The CS also met with Amb. Deborah Birx-Head of the US Global Office on AIDS, at the Global Fund Pledging session.
The conference closed successfully  having raised 14.02bn against the initial target of 14bn.
