NAIROBI, Kenya 11 December 2016 – Cabinet Secretary for Health, Dr. Cleopa Mailu on Sunday said he was saddened by the deaths of people in the Naivasha accident.
“We extend our condolences and deepest sympathizes following the regrettable accident in Naivasha where lives were lost. We join the families, relatives and friends in mourning their loved ones.”
“As we mark this terrible loss of life,” the CS continued, “I want to thank the Kenya National Nurses Union for accepting to call off the strike to attend to the victims of the accident.”
“I have instructed the medical personnel in Naivasha, Kenyatta National Hospitals and other health facilities to respond accordingly to the emergency.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families and loved ones during this difficult hour. May God bless their souls.”
