The Policy Steering Committee on Ending Teenage Pregnancy today apprised the Principal Secretary of the State Department of Public Health and Professional Standards, Dr Josephine Mburu, of the progress made towards ending this issue in Kenya.
In response, the PS emphasized the need for everyone to work together to protect our youth and maximize the demographic dividend.
The Multi-sectoral Committee was formed to come up with practical solution for ending teenage Pregnancy and is expected to steer the country towards the ICPD25 commitment of ending the vice by 2030.
