Activating Strategies for Health and Humanity Amid Heavy Rains

Monday November 27,2023 Health stakeholders have united to tackle humanitarian and health challenges resulting from the ongoing heavy rains.

Today's discussions led by Principal Secretary State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards Mary Muthoni focused on strategies for restoring health infrastructure, addressing immediate health needs, and fortifying disease surveillance. 

The multi-stakeholder team crafted a comprehensive plan to coordinate essential resources. This includes restoring wash facilities, strategically distributing food supplies with vital nutritional support, and deploying dignity kits. Temporary treatment and rescue centers took center stage, stressing the importance of proper community engagement for safety. 

In the midst of deliberations, a resounding call for unity emerge ,a collective plea to actively support, save lives, alleviate suffering, and catalyze the restoration of health functions in profoundly affected counties.
