All Roads Lead To Universal Health Coverage

Nairobi Monday October 9, 2023 The government is championing four groundbreaking bills set to transform the nation's healthcare system. These bills encompass Primary Health Care and Primary Care Networks, Digital Health, Health Finance and Health Products and Technologies, and Human Resources for Health (HRH).

Aligned with SDG 17 and acknowledging the pivotal role of the private sector in healthcare service delivery, the Principal Secretary State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards Mary Muthoni convened a meeting with the Private Hospital Owners Association to explore potential partnerships for achieving Universal Health Coverage.

During their discussion, they explored collaboration opportunities for the upcoming Mashujaa week, with the central theme of "Universal Health Coverage," and committed to continuing their partnership beyond this event.
