Collaborative Effort to Ensure Uninterrupted Healthcare Services

 𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐢, 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚 - 𝟐𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 

 The Principal Secretary for Medical Services met with the Council of Governors’ Human Resources, Labor, and Social Welfare Committee, led by Nairobi Governor H.E. Johnson Sakaja and Health Committee Chairperson H.E. Muthomi Njuki, to address concerns raised by the Kenya Union of Clinical Officers (KUCO). 

 The meeting resulted in a commitment to resolving KUCO’s issues and ensuring uninterrupted services in county health facilities. 

 “We urge KUCO to call off the strike in the spirit of cooperation, as the process to empanel and contract health facilities licensed by the Clinical Officers Council is already underway, guaranteeing the payment of SHA benefits,” the PS said.
