Government Advances People-Centred Development as President Ruto, PS Mary Muthoni Join Gatundu North Community for Church Service
Gatundu ,2025 The Government continues to advance socio-economic development as a key pillar of national progress. In this context, Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards, Mary Muthoni, joined H.E. President William Ruto and other leaders for a church service at AIPCA Gatundu North Diocese, where they worshipped with the local community.
During the service, the President spoke on key development priorities, including road infrastructure and the implementation of Universal Health Coverage through the Social Health Authority (SHA).
In line with the Government’s commitment to bringing services closer to the people, Community Health Promoters from the area conducted SHA registration and basic health screenings for members of the community.
The service was also attended by Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah,Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi, the County Woman Representative,Ann Muratha, , Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome, and Principal Secretaries Salome Beacco and Betty Maina, underscoring a collective leadership approach in promoting people-centred development and accessible healthcare.
