Health CS Urges 100-Day Targets for Accelerating Universal Health Coverage
Nairobi, Kenya - - In a bid to accelerate the delivery of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Kenya, Cabinet Secretary for Health, Dr. Deborah Mlongo Barasa, has called on all directorates within the Ministry to set clear and actionable targets for the next 100 days. During a senior management meeting , Dr. Barasa, accompanied by Principal Secretaries Ms. Mary Muthoni (Public Health) and Mr. Harry Kimtai (Medical Services), as well as Director General of Health Dr. Patrick Amoth, emphasized the critical importance of UHC as the foundation for ensuring that every Kenyan can access quality healthcare without facing financial hardship.
