Kajiado County Embraces the Social Health Authority to Strengthen Healthcare Access

๐Š๐š๐ฃ๐ข๐š๐๐จ, ๐Š๐ž๐ง๐ฒ๐š - ๐Ÿ’๐ญ๐ก ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“ - The Ministry of Health has commended Kajiado County for embracing the Social Health Authority (SHA), a key step in advancing healthcare access and service delivery.ย ย 

Representing the Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards, Dr. Ouma Oluga lauded the countyโ€™s commitment to improving healthcare for its residents. The event also saw the flagging off of new ambulances, further enhancing emergency response services.ย 

ย The Ministry acknowledges the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in strengthening healthcare systems. Through the Social Health Authority, more Kenyans will be able to access quality and affordable healthcare, ensuring progress toward universal health coverage (UHC).

ย The Ministry remains committed to working with counties to enhance healthcare delivery and protect the well-being of all Kenyans.
