Kenya Explores Digital Solutions to Advance an HIV-Free Generation
Kenya is strengthening efforts to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV by improving early diagnosis, access to care and follow-up services for mothers and infants.
Principal Secretary for Medical Services Dr. Ouma Oluga met an EMEA delegation led by Dr. Rabah Elasayed, Divisional Vice President and Global Accounts, to explore support for the EWENE Programme.
The discussions focused on the use of emerging technologies, digital solutions and health data to identify cases early, connect mothers and infants to appropriate care and strengthen continuity of treatment.
The proposed partnership is expected to complement Kenya’s efforts to improve health outcomes for mothers and children and accelerate progress towards an HIV-free generation.
