Nairobi, Kenya - 18thΒ December 2024Β -The Cabinet Secretary for Health, Dr. Deborah Barasa,Β todayΒ chaired a senior management meeting to review the progress of key health initiatives.

Β Discussions focused on the implementation of the Social Health Authority (SHA), the rollout of SHIF benefit package, performance contract, and addressing health workers’ remuneration.Β Β 

Dr. Barasa praised the team's dedication and emphasized the vital role of effective management and teamwork in driving the achievement of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).Β 

Β As the festive season approaches, the Ministry of Health reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to ensuring equitable and affordable healthcare services for all Kenyans.
