 Nairobi, 4th October 2024 - Today, Cabinet Secretary for Health Dr. Deborah Mlongo Barasa hosted Eliud Owalo, Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Performance and Delivery Management, and Ms. Mercy Kiiru Wanjau, Secretary to the Cabinet, to vet the Ministry of Health's performance contract commitments for the 2024/2025 fiscal year.

 The meeting highlighted the Ministry's achievements under the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), including rolling out Social Health Insurance, training 107,000 Community Health Promoters, and expanding Primary Care Networks.

 Upcoming commitments focus on Universal Health Coverage and enhancing health services and resources.
