Ministry of health Engages National Assembly on Tariffs for Social Health Authority Services to Advance Universal Health Coverage

ππšπ’π«π¨π›π’, 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚 – πŸ’π­π‘ π’πžπ©π­πžπ¦π›πžπ« πŸπŸŽπŸπŸ’Β The Ministry of Health, Cabinet Secretary Dr. Deborah M. Barasa, held a highly productive discussion with the National Assembly Committee on Health about the tariffs for services under the Social Health Authority.Β 

These tariffs are crucial for ensuring the accessibility and affordability of quality healthcare for millions of Kenyans, furthering the progress toward Universal Health Coverage (UHC).Β 

Accompanied by Medical Services Principal Secretary Mr Harry Kimtai, Dr. Barasa expressed gratitude to the Members of Parliament for their valuable input as Kenya moves closer to implementing comprehensive social health insurance with the upcoming rollout of services under the Social Health Authority.
