At the official opening, Dr. Elizabeth Wangia, Head of Health Financing, emphasized the importance of this exercise in dispelling misinformation about the Social Health Authority (SHA).

She highlighted the critical role of communication, particularly engaging beneficiaries, including Generation Z and other influential groups, to ensure widespread understanding and support.

Dr. Wangia also noted that the Ministry is establishing digital infrastructure in preparation for the SHA roll-out, which is now playing a central role in ensuring a smooth transition.

She urged counties, especially those represented at the meeting, to prioritize sensitization efforts across all regions to effectively communicate the benefits and processes associated with the SHA.
