MoH, Johnson & Johnson Forge Partnership to Strengthen Nursing, Mental Health, and Community Health Systems

The Ministry of Health held a strategic meeting with Johnson & Johnson Global Health Equity and its implementing partners in Community Health, Mental Health and Nursing to discuss areas of collaboration.

This partnership aims to strengthen the health workforce by equipping nurses with both clinical and leadership skills to enhance the quality of care. The initiative will also foster stronger linkages between nurses, community health promoters, and the broader health system, thereby improving access to care and foster Universal Health Coverage.

Additionally, the partnership will support efforts to bolster mental health services and strengthen community health systems as a foundation for achieving equitable and sustainable health outcomes.
