Nairobi , 2024 Principal Secretary State Department for Public and Professional Standards Mary Muthoni has  presented the latest progress report on the Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and Community Health Promoters (CHPs) to the Cabinet Secretary Dr. Deborah Mlongo. 

Key milestones and future strategies were highlighted, showcasing the ongoing efforts to enhance primary healthcare and improve community health nationwide. 

To date, 189 PCNs have been established, with an additional 27 in the final stages of development. Plans are underway to add 25 more PCNs within the next 100 days, aiming for a total of 315. 

This expansion is set to play a crucial role in improving healthcare access and addressing community health needs across the country.
