Kenya and Netherlands Collaborate to Strengthen Medical Disaster Response

𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐢, 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚 – 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 - In a bid to enhance Kenya's medical disaster response capabilities, Principal Secretary for the State Department of Medical Services, Mr. Harry Kimtai, received a courtesy call from the Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Kenya, Mr. Joris van Bommel. 

Their discussions focused on the provision of critical funds under the Social Health Insurance (SHI) Act, strengthening health facilities, transferring skills and knowledge, and sharing health research and innovations between the Netherlands and Kenya. 

These initiatives are expected to significantly boost Kenya's health sector's ability to respond to emergencies effectively.
