Nairobi , 2024 Principal Secretary for the State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards, Mary Muthoni, held a strategic meeting with representatives from the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NGCDF) and the Kenya Medical Training Colleges (KMTC) boards. The discussions focused on the sustainability of KMTC in light of the increasing demand for courses at the institutions. 

The meeting also explored ways to harmonize investments and align resources to ensure that the established campuses are fully equipped to meet both local and global training standards. 

This collaboration aims to produce highly skilled healthcare professionals who can address Kenya’s healthcare needs while also competing effectively in the global market.
