Nairobi, 27th September 2024 - A consultative meeting on the UHC rollout with County Executive Committee Members for Health, led by Dr. Zeinab Gura, Deputy Director General for Health, focused on preparedness for the Social Health Authority (SHA) rollout and healthcare digitization.

The discussion addressed local healthcare challenges and highlighted collaboration between the Ministry of Health and County Governments as key to ensuring a smooth transition to the Social Health Insurance framework and improving health outcomes. Actionable strategies will be developed to overcome barriers and promote sustainable healthcare across counties.
