ย The Principal Secretary for Medical Services Mr Harry Kimtai received a courtesy call from the incoming UNICEF Chief of Health, Dr. Luigi Dโ€™Aquino, onย Friday, January 17, 2025.ย 

During their discussion, they explored avenues for joint collaboration between UNICEF and the Ministry of Health (MOH), with a focus on life-saving vaccines and other essential health commodities.ย 

Both parties emphasized the critical need to ensure an uninterrupted supply of vaccines to make them readily available whenever needed.ย ย 

UNICEF has been a longstanding partner of the Ministry of Health, offering vital support in immunization programs, reproductive health, maternal health, and neonatal and child health initiatives.
