ย In a continued effort to strengthen the collaboration between Kenya and the UAE, Principal Secretary for Medical Services Mr. Harry Kimtai, had the pleasure of receiving a courtesy call from H.E. Dr. Salim Ibrahim Al Naqbi, UAE Ambassador to Kenya.ย
This meeting follows up on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at deepening the partnership in healthcare, drawing on the UAEโs successes in the sector.ย
ย They discussed several key areas, including vaccine production, the expansion of primary healthcare services through the CHP programme, and strategies to enhance universal health coverage, particularly through improving the stockage of essential health products and technologies to address critical healthcare needs in Kenya.
