π‘π¨π¦πž, 𝐈𝐭𝐚π₯𝐲 - OnΒ , 2025, during the DEAM Conference in Rome, Italy, Kenya’s Principal Secretary for Medical Services, Mr. Harry Kimtai, and Italian Health Minister Prof. Mario Schilaci held crucial discussions on accelerating the implementation of the 2023 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).Β 

Β The focus was on four key areas:Β 

Β 1. Recruitment of nursesΒ 

Β 2. Vaccine manufacturingΒ 

Β 3. TelemedicineΒ 

Β 4. Pharmaceutical manufacturingΒ 

Both parties agreed to expedite these efforts, with Amb. Frederick Matwang’a tasked with following up with the Italian Ministry of Health and engaging the relevant stakeholders.Β 

This collaboration marks a significant step forward in strengthening healthcare systems in Kenya and Africa.
