The Ministry of Health continues the distribution of BCG vaccines across the country, ensuring children receive the protection they need.ย 

ย A spot check by the Ministry of Health onย January 28, 2025 found children being vaccinated at Machakos Level 5 Hospital.ย 

In Nyeri County, 72,000 doses are being distributed to protect children against BCG andย In Machakos County, 44,000 doses have been allocated, with distribution ongoing across nine sub-counties to ensure all children are protected.ย 

Caregivers are encouraged to visit local health facilities to have their children vaccinated and catch up on any missed doses.ย
