PS Muthoni champions innovative solutions for Health at KEMRI 15th Annual Scientific Conference.

Nairobi , 2025 The 15th Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) Annual Scientific and Health (KASH) Conference kicked off  at the Safari Park Hotel and Casino, bringing together experts, researchers, and policymakers to discuss advancements in healthcare.

Themed "Research, Technology, and Innovation for a Sustainable Health System," the conference aims to highlight the critical role of scientific research in shaping the future of Kenya’s healthcare sector.

Speaking at the event, the Principal Secretary Mary Muthoni underscored the importance of integrating research-driven innovations into the health system to enhance service delivery, improve patient outcomes, and address emerging health challenges.

"Our healthcare system must be built on evidence-based solutions. By leveraging technology and innovation, we can create a more resilient and sustainable health sector that serves all Kenyans," the PS stated.
