National and County Governments Commit to Strengthen Community Health Systems
Machakos , 2025 On the final day of the Community Health Services County Review Meetings, several key resolutions were made to enhance the effectiveness and coordination of community health services. Counties were urged to strengthen support supervision of Community Health Promoters (CHPs) to improve service delivery at the community level. In addition, it was resolved that regular data quality assessments be carried out on information collected by CHPs through the Electronic Community Health Information System (eCHIS) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Counties and partners also committed to conducting regular multi-sectoral coordination meetings to align interventions, enhance synergy, and avoid duplication of efforts.
