PS Muthoni Rallies Kariobangi North Residents on Early Detection, Hygiene, and SHA Registration
Nairobi November23,2025 Public Health Principal Secretary Mary Muthoni led a focused public health engagement with the Kariobangi North Community, emphasizing early disease screening, food safety, and improved hygiene as essential measures for protecting community health.
She called on residents to work closely with Community Health Promoters to ensure early detection of illnesses. With the festive season approaching, the PS stressed the need to consume only inspected meat and uphold strict food safety practices. She further underscored the importance of personal and environmental hygiene, alongside proper water and sanitation, to prevent waterborne diseases.
PS Muthoni also encouraged community members to register with the Social Health Authority (SHA) and take advantage of the free primary care services available to them.
