Port Health Team Meets with IOM Delegation to Advance Migration Health Collaboration

Nairobi, KENYA - 8 September 2023 - On Friday, Β the Port Health Team, led by Mr. Benjamin Murkomen, and the IOM delegation, headed by Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Faisal Sharif, came together to explore opportunities for collaboration in the domain of Migration Health.

Key highlights of the meeting included discussions on forming partnerships to bolster evidence-based programming related to displacement data and humanitarian needs. Both teams expressed their commitment to addressing the complex health challenges faced by migrants.
