Principal Secretaries Monthly meeting reviews cross Sectoral progress in line with Government's Development Agenda
Nairobi ,2025 Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards, Ms. Mary Muthoni, joined fellow Principal Secretaries for the monthly meeting chaired by the Head of Public Service and Chief of Staff, Mr. Felix Koskei.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review cross-sectoral progress in line with the government’s development agenda. Discussions focused on the gains made under the Agriculture and Livestock pillars, key milestones in Public Finance Management reforms, and the evolving national security landscape.
Also highlighted were the ongoing health sector reforms aimed at strengthening service delivery and accelerating progress toward Universal Health Coverage. These include institutional restructuring, digitisation of systems, and efforts to improve access and accountability across all levels of care.
Such inter-departmental consultations reaffirm the government’s commitment to a Whole-of-Government approach in achieving the priorities of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
