Principal Secretary Harry Kimtai's Official Visit to Kiambu Governor on World Oral Health Day

Kiambu, Kenya - 21st March 2024 -  Mr. Harry Kimtai, the Principal Secretary of the State Department for Medical Services, paid a visit to Kiambu Governor H.E. Kimani Wamatangi as part of his itinerary to commemorate World Oral Health Day in Ndumberi, Kiambu County. 

During the meeting, they discussed the collaboration and support provided by the national government to counties, ensuring the efficient delivery of essential health products, technologies, and emergency services to Kenyans. 

Mr. Kimtai highlighted Kiambu’s pioneering efforts as the first county to train Community Health Promoters (CHPs) in Oral Health and its leadership role in advancing Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by enhancing health infrastructure within the devolved units.
