𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐢, 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚 - 𝟏𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 

 On Thursday, January 16, 2025, the Principal Secretary for Medical Services, Mr. Harry Kimtai, hosted a delegation from Japan’s WHO National Center for Global Health and Medicine. 

The meeting focused on building capacity within the Ministry of Health, strengthening oral disease prevention and control services using WHO essential dental preparations, and advocating for the importance of oral health. 

 The delegation’s visit aims to assess Kenya’s current oral health system, follow up on the action plan developed during the Japanese training mission, and explore future collaborations to enhance access to oral health services across the country.
