PS Dr Ouma Oluga Hosts Zimbabwe Delegation on Benchmarking Visit to Kenya’s Health Sector

Nairobi, - Principal Secretary for Medical Services, Dr Ouma Oluga,  hosted a high-level delegation from the Government of Zimbabwe led by Dr Benson Martins Dube, Permanent Secretary in charge of the Office of the Vice President and the Cabinet.

The delegation is in Kenya to learn from the country’s transformative health reforms. Their discussions focused on Kenya’s progress under the Social Health Authority (SHA) financing model, ongoing initiatives to strengthen the health workforce, advancements in Health Products and Technologies through NESP and KEMSA, and the unification of health systems under the Digital Health Superhighway.

Kenya’s health system has been recognised as the second most responsive and resilient in Africa, positioning the country as a regional leader in health sector innovation and reform.
