PS Mary Muthoni and Dr. Jacqueline Kitulu Rally Women Leaders to Transform Healthcare
Nairobi ,2026 Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards, Mary Muthoni, co-hosted the Women in Healthcare Kenya convention alongside Dr. Jacqueline Kitulu, President of the World Medical Association, under the theme, "Connect. Share.Grow."
The event brought together women leaders, healthcare professionals, policymakers, innovators, development partners, academia, students and young professionals from across Kenya's healthcare sector to celebrate the invaluable contribution of women to healthcare delivery while fostering meaningful connections, mentorship and collaboration.
During the meeting, participants shared experiences, formed professional networks and explored innovative solutions to advance women’s leadership in healthcare.
The discussions reaffirmed the critical role of women in transforming Kenya's health sector and underscored the collective commitment to building a resilient, equitable and people-centred health system through empowered and connected women leaders.
