Public Participation In The 2024/25 Budget Making Process: Embu Edition

Embu, Friday November 3, 2023 Principal Secretary, State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards Mary Muthoni has today led a public participation exercise in the 2024/25 budget making process in Embu County.

The exercise is part of the government's Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) to drive inclusive growth. 

This initiative encourages citizen engagement, questions, and accountability, with public input influencing the final budget. 

It marks a historic milestone in Kenya's budget-making, emphasizing transparency, public participation, and accountability in the pursuit of economic development and positive change.
