ย During the plenary session, Dr. Barasa emphasized the need to strengthen health systems to bridge public health and healthcare delivery. Kenya is investing in modern healthcare infrastructure, enhancing workforce capacity, and fostering public-private partnerships to drive innovation.ย 

Community-based initiatives like Community Health Promoters (CHPs) are making a significant impact, ensuring health resilience at the grassroots level. The summitโ€™s theme, "Securing health and prosperity one community at a time," highlights the vital role of every community in shaping the future of health security.ย 

Kenya remains committed to regional collaboration, improved surveillance, and local manufacturing of medical products to ensure Africaโ€™s self-sufficiency.
