Mandera,February,2025 The launch of the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Mandera Campus by H.E. President William Ruto is a strong demonstration of the government's commitment to strengthening Human Resources for Health (HRH) and expanding access to quality healthcare services, especially in underserved regions.

The campus offers a range of essential courses, including Diploma in Community Health Nursing, Diploma in Community Health, Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Certificate in Community Health Nursing, Certificate in Healthcare Assistance, and Certificate in Community Health Development.

This initiative aligns with Kenya’s Universal Health Coverage (UHC) goals, ensuring that more healthcare workers are trained and deployed to address the health needs of communities, particularly in marginalized areas.
