Strengthening Kenya's Health Systems through Strategic Partnerships

Β ππšπ’π«π¨π›π’, 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚 πŸ‘πŸŽπ­π‘ πŽπœπ­π¨π›πžπ« πŸπŸŽπŸπŸ’ - Β Cabinet Secretary for Health, Dr. Deborah Mlongo Barasa,Β todayΒ hosted World Bank Kenya officials, Dr. Peter Okwero, Senior Health Specialist, and Dr. Jane Chuma, Senior Health Economist, to discuss ongoing and future support for Kenya’s health sector.Β 

The World Bank continues to support the Ministry of Health priorities through the Building Resilient and responsive Health systems Project, that will provide the necessary commodities to primary level facilities and strengthen the health systems.Β 

The Regional Project will come a long way in supporting the local manufacturing of key commodities including vaccines that will guarantee commodity security for the country. The CS appreciated the past support provided by the World Bank that has contributed to improved health outcomes.Β
